A briefing you can question.
Inbox Distiller connects selected reading to a growing collection of useful ideas. Every published conclusion comes with a trail back to its evidence.
How the collection develops
Editors approve each source and its permitted use. AI helps extract claims and possible interpretations. Editors review conclusions before publication, link them to evidence, and explain what would make us reconsider.
AI can be wrong. Agreement between models is not proof, and several sites repeating one report are not independent evidence.
When a source changes or is withdrawn, affected conclusions and editions are removed until they are reviewed again.
Help choose the next source
Anyone can read. Verify your email to suggest sources, vote on what deserves attention, and discuss proposals. Votes and comments help guide reading; they do not count as evidence.
Editors may hide abusive or irrelevant material and lock discussions. Suggest a public link or DOI. A podcast suggestion still needs a permitted transcript before an episode can be processed.
Your email stays private
Reading and exploring are open to everyone. Verify your email to subscribe to Alan’s briefing or participate in the source queue. Email delivery is a separate, optional choice, at most once per day. No password, inbox connection or API key is needed.
We store your email, public display name, consent history, and the minimum records needed to deliver mail and prevent abuse. Public pages show display names, never member emails. Verification links expire after 20 minutes; member sessions expire after seven days.
You can manage email preferences or delete your membership at Manage email. Deletion removes your email and sessions and anonymizes your contributions. A minimal suppression record is retained to respect opt-outs and delivery complaints. Unsubscribe links work without signing in.
Routine cleanup removes unverified accounts after seven days, mail event details after 90 days, and completed delivery message bodies after 30 days. Consent, suppression, and minimal delivery records remain to honor your choices and prevent duplicate mail.
The private ingestion workspace is separate from the public collection. Connecting a private source does not grant permission to publish it.
